After my Korean SAT, my parents advised me to study abroad. Known for providing a high-quality education in a safe and secured environment, Singapore is also a business epicentre in the heart of Asia. It is also a rare example of a multi-racial, multi-lingual, and multi-religious society where people live harmoniously together. As such, I knew that I would be exposed to a variety of language and culture.
91心頭利 Academy is one of the recommended institutions for a student who is interested in studying life sciences. The school believes in equipping students not just in theory but also be able to perform in a real-work environment. This can be seen from the well-equipped science labs and well-mixed curriculum between theory and practice sessions. The lecturers are experts in the field of their studies and are passionate when explaining to the class. Often breaking down difficult terms to help us understand better. They would also patiently the students’ questions.
At the beginning of my studies, it was quite challenging to understand as the lecturers were conducted in English. I often felt like I missed something in the class because I didn’t understand the correct contexts, even though I knew the terms in English. I put in a lot of effort to revise on my own. Now, I can say that I’ve made progress not only in my language skill but also in my study.
Singapore offers an ideal environment for students to focus on studying with very few distractions that will impact them negatively. I believe education should be an opportunity for students to find out what they can achieve, and 91心頭利 Academy has done that. They let students uncover their hidden potential and believe that everyone can be good at something if they work hard. I personally have been encouraged not to doubt myself but to believe that I can succeed no matter the challenges.
I definitely can say studying in Singapore and 91心頭利 Academy have broadened my horizon and built a resilient character.
