91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy-La Trobe University Nursing Scholarship

Selection Criteria

  • Eligible for all nationalities
  • Applied to take up the Bachelor of Nursing (Top- Up) programme with La Trobe University.
  • Minimum 2 years of service as a Registered Nurse by Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) in Singapore.
  • Good Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma in Nursing (GPA 3.0) and Private Diploma (case by case basis)
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent
  • Submit Scholarship essay (500 words or more)

Application Submission

Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents (scanned and zipped):

  • Scholarship Application Form
  • Letter of Offer from La Trobe University
  • Good Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma in Nursing (GPA 3.0) and Private Diploma (Case by case basis)
  • All co-curricular activity records (From Secondary to Tertiary Level)
  • Certificate of Achievements (if any)
  • Minimum 2 Testimonial(s) for industrial / professional attachment(s) (if applicable)
  • Scholarship Essay: “Why You Should Be Awarded This Scholarship” (500 words or more)

Terms & Conditions

  • The award recipient is to start the programme in the above-mentioned cohort at 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy, Singapore and complete the programme within the time frame stipulated in the Overall Schedule.
  • The award recipient is to maintain a minimum attendance of 90% and sit for all prescribed examinations.
  • The award recipient must maintain an average grade of ‘B’ throughout the course of study at 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy.
  • No deferment of module or term shall be allowed.
  • Undergraduate students transferring on-campus will not be eligible for the Scholarship.
  • The award recipient is to be featured in the publications and/or promotions of the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy or University and in any other student recruitment promotion activities.
  • The award recipient shall not be entitled for any other promotions offered by 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy, assistance or incentives including but not limited to any progress rebate, funding, referral fees and/or other sign-up incentives.
  • The selection panel may terminate the scholarship if:
    • The award recipient is found to have provided false or misleading declaration of any information during the application process;
    • The award recipient is found guilty of a disciplinary offence as defined under the student handbook;
    • The award recipient is found to have contravened the law (minor offences such as parking summons and jaywalking are excluded); or
    • The award recipient’s academic progress is not satisfactory.
    • The award recipient fails to achieve 90% attendance and sits for all prescribed assessments within the specified academic period.

 

Should the award recipient not meet the above Terms & Conditions or decide to withdraw from the programme offered by 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy and/or terminate the scholarship prematurely, 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy may claim immediate repayment of all scholarship monies that had been disbursed.

91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy may make reasonable changes to this scholarship at any time and will advise scholars if this occurs.​

Scholarships will be awarded based on academic grades and exemplary behaviour.

91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy Sports Excellence Education Scholarship

Selection Criteria

  • Eligible only for Singaporeans applying for any Full-Time or Part-Time Sports Science Diploma or Sports Science degree (not applicable for e-learning courses)
  • Scholarship application will be strictly by invitation
  • Open to applicants who have represented or are currently representing their sport at national level
  • Applicant’s academic records and sport representation records
  • Demonstrate a strong record and achievements in respective sport

Terms & Conditions

  • Demonstrate exemplary student attributes throughout the course of study at 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy e.g. strive for best results, attend and participate in classes
  • Complete the programme within the standard timeframe
  • Fulfil a minimum attendance requirement of 75% per module
  • Maintain excellent student conduct throughout the programme
  • Involve and be featured in 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy’s publication and/or promotion of the Academy or University and in any advertising campaigns
  • Attend all and/or to speak at previews, open houses, events to provide testimonials, if necessary
  • 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy may make reasonable changes to this scholarship at any time and will advise scholars if this occurs

91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy Merit Scholarship (Undergraduate Courses Only & Excluding E-Learning Courses)

Selection Criteria

  • Eligible for all nationalities
  • Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma (min GPA 3.2) or GCE ‘A’ Level (min Average Grade B) or equivalent
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent
  • Exhibit leadership qualities
  • Submit Scholarship essay (500 words or more)

  • Letter of Offer from 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy
  • Academic certificates and transcripts/results from Secondary to Tertiary level (e.g., GCE 'A' Level, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent)
  • All co-curricular activity records (From Secondary to Tertiary Level)
  • Certificate of Achievements
  • Testimonial(s) for industrial / professional attachment(s) (if applicable)

SINDA Sponsorship

Diploma & Degree Courses (Excluding E-Learning Courses)

  • Eligible for Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PR).
  • Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma (min GPA 2.5) or 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy Diploma (min Grade D+) or all other academic records (min 1 grade higher than the pass grade) or equivalent
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities.
  • Candidate to submit Sponsorship Application to relevant person in charge, minimum three (3) months prior to intake commencement.
  • Meet any other criteria stated by partner

SAFRA Sponsorship

Diploma & Degree Courses (Excluding E-Learning Courses)

  • Eligible for Singaporeans who have completed full-time National Service.
  • Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma (min GPA 2.5) or 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy Diploma (min Grade D+) or all other academic records (min 1 grade higher than the pass grade) or equivalent
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities.
  • Candidate to submit Sponsorship Application to relevant person in charge, minimum three (3) months prior to intake commencement.
  • Meet any other criteria stated by partner

  • The Sponsorship Recipient is to start the course in the above-mentioned cohort at 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy, Singapore and complete the course within the time frame stipulated in the Overall Schedule.
  • Each Sponsorship Recipient must achieve an average of seventy-five percent (75%) attendance and shall sit for all prescribed assessments for the duration in which the Sponsorship Recipient is in receipt of the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy – Partners’ Sponsorship.
  • Each Sponsorship Recipient is expected to achieve at least Grade C for each module every term.
  • Each Sponsorship Recipient shall not be allowed to switch his or her academic course upon the grant and acceptance of the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy – Partners’ Sponsorship. Undergraduate students transferring to on-campus will not be eligible for the sponsorship.
  • In the event a Sponsorship Recipient wishes to defer his or her application for admission to the next academic term or year, the grant of the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy – Partners’ Sponsorship will not be deferred automatically. Any such deferment of the grant of the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy – Partners’ Sponsorship, if granted, shall be at the joint discretion of the Parties.
  • The Sponsorship value equivalent to the course fees covered by each 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy – Partners’ Sponsorship will be deducted from the Course Fees payable, and the balance shall be paid in instalments according to the breakdown shown in the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy Student Contract between 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy and the Sponsorship Recipient
  • Each Sponsorship Recipient shall not be entitled for any other 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy promotions, assistance or incentives including but not limited to any progress rebate, referral fees and/or other sign-up incentives.
  • Each Sponsorship Recipient applicant shall not be allowed to hold any other bursary, funding, financial aid and/or sponsorship offered by 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy.
  • The Sponsorship Recipient is expected to take on the role of Student Ambassador for six months after the completion of the sponsored course so that 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy could have the option to feature them in the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy’s collaterals. The Sponsorship Recipient is to represent 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy at information sessions, during official guest visits or other public events throughout the duration of the course.
  • Each Sponsorship Recipient is expected to be involved in student chapter and/or club activities, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities initiated by 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy throughout the course of study and be featured in the publications/and or promotions of 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy and in any other student recruitment promotion activities.

In the event a Sponsorship Recipient terminates, withdraws, or abandons his or her academic course prior to its completion for any reason whatsoever, the sponsorship will be terminate the scholarship prematurely. 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy may claim immediate repayment of all scholarship monies that had been disbursed. Any sponsorship schemes in future will be considered on case-by-case basis.

All other Terms and Conditions as specified in the Sponsorship Letter will be applicable.

Selection Criteria

Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Courses (Excluding E-Learning Courses)

  • Eligible for Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PR).
  • Attained academic merit by meeting the Minimum Entry Requirement to enter the course offered by 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy.
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities.
  • Candidate or candidate’s parents have a minimum of six (6) months SISEU membership.
  • Maintain SISEU membership throughout the duration of course.
  • Willing to be an ambassador.
  • Candidate to submit Sponsorship Application to relevant person in charge, minimum three (3) months prior to intake commencement.
  • Meet any other criteria stated by partner.

  • The Sponsorship Recipient, as a SISEU member, is expected to volunteer at SISEU’s events throughout the duration of the Sponsorship Recipient’s course.
  • In the event a Sponsorship Recipient did not meet the above Terms & Conditions, terminates, withdraws, or abandons his or her academic course prior to its completion for any reason whatsoever, the sponsorship will be terminated prematurely. 91¿´Æ¬Íø Academy and SISEU may claim immediate repayment of all sponsorship monies that had been disbursed. Any sponsorship schemes in future will be considered on case-by-case basis.All other Terms and Conditions as specified in the Sponsorship Letter will be applicable.
